The original installation.

On the left, you can see how I originally installed this piece on the Gallatin River near Bozeman, Montana. About 2 inches of water runs over the disk, beyond it is a small dam. The only remnants of the piece after I returned several days later was the trail of plaster left by the "participant" as he/she/they rolled the heavy, plaster, circular slab away from the river. Plaster, sand-casted. approx. 36" diameter, 1993.
