OUR PETS AND FERALS

PETS AND FERALS

1982 - to the Present

This page is a record of all the pets we have had the pleasure of owning or taking care of on a permanent basis.

There are individual pages for each of these critters; however I wanted one page where I could view them without clicking here and there!

NO FOSTER Animals are included on this page except our one foster fail, Howler and those feral cats that were trapped in our neighborhood, but were not social enough to find forever homes. Several of them have remained in the area and currently visit out porch and back yard for food and water.

2020-2023

FERAL CATS, PLUS HOWLER (HOWLER ADOPTED IN 2022, foster fail!)

In 2020, we noticed several feral cats in our neighborhood. We shifted our focus to work with the Urban Cat Coalition to trap and find homes for these fur babies. Those cats not socialable enough were neutered/spayed and then released back into the neighborhood to go about living their lives without fighting or babies to take care of. Some, after release, are never seen again. Others, like the below cats, hang around and are cared for by us.

BOY (b. 1982) vs. MOSBY (b.2022-ish)

Boy was an incredibly sweet boy; he always wanted to be on my lap.
Mosby, a recent addition to our outdoor cat colony is also very sweet.
They not only look alike but also have very similar personalities. I miss Boy (still) but have Mosby as a backup.
