The "Ice Age Trail Segments" Foster Crew

Trapped: 07 October 2026
Trapped 18 October 2026 (McKenzie)

Final Disposition will be TNR

Reports of 'many' cats (Mums, Dads and kittens) on the loose about 4 blocks from home. We had to do something.

We first trapped a male cat (Daddy?) Paladin. He has since been returned to the colony, but we had to get these other guys

So on the 7th, I collected as many carriers and traps as I could and was able to trap (with the help of one of the caretakers) these five cats.

Two are adult females, Iola is Queen Mum to the kittens. The other adult female, Verona, is a part of the colony as well, but we are unsure if she has had any litters.

Well, if so, she will have no more.

McKenzie, another kitten in the colony, was trapped on Oct 18.

THE QUEENS

THE KITTENS

McKenzie was trapped on October 18th, 2026; the last of the colony, as far as I know. Phew

For a bit, all four original trappees were kept together. After the s/n surgery I separated the boys and girls into different quarters.

Verona always hung out on the top shelf, as far away from me as she could get. Iola was the fearless one, nagging me for churu all the time. Monches, is a sweet little kitten but very fearful, however churu does work miracles, sometimes.
From left to right: Monches, Verona, Iola

McKenzie joined the gang on Oct 18 2026
Note:image file has wrong name, this is McKenzie, not Baraboo.

McKenzie was sequestered in the kennel, Verona, Iola & Monches had Kittentopia,
and Merton and his little pal Baraboo, shared the bathroom.
We have/had a full house!!

I made the caretakers a winter shelter.
