Arrived April 29th, 2026

The Artemis Crew was trapped on April 29th and came to us that same day. Christina had major eye issues and was in dire need of medical care.

Artemis, Queen Mum, seems to be reasonably friendly; she will approach me for Churu, but may growl/hiss.
She has not shown any scary aggressive behaviors.

Reid is a little firecracker and is already exploring the area; Christina is also out and about, but there is the concern with her eyes.
I'm hoping for improvement in a few days.

They are adoptable, and will be with us for socialization!

The Artemis Crew and my permanent feline, Howler, finally share the same space.
There have been a few minor hissing & slashing events, but overall, peaceful.
I still have to chaperone them all, just in case.

Update: August 1st, 2026

I was hopeful this would be an easy transition. Unfortunately, I have had to ensure Artemis and Howler remain separate;
Artemis is very aggressive towards Howler, and that, rightly so, scares Howler (and me).
So, for now, they will remain in separate quarters, which makes it difficult to socialize Artemis.

Artemis needs more experience in living with humans in normal circumstances. But, I am giving Howler a break from terror. This is her house after all!!!
