Chocolate

Top Ten List

This is the cocoa bean - where all things chocolate begin.

Chocolate. . .is my vice of choice.

Not only does it taste great, but it also has all sorts of drugs with long, scientific-sounding names that make you feel better, too. Studies have shown chocolate is good for you; hey, there are worse addictions to have. I'm not a 'snob' when it comes to chocolate, American chocolate, even Hershey's, is just fine with me.

I highly recommend the book, 'The Emperor's of Chocolate: Inside the World of Hershey and Mars' by Joel Stenn Brenner - you'll never look at a Milky Way bar the same again.

What would life be like without chocolate? Well, you know those TV ads "Got Milk?" - it would be worse than that. My favorite chocolate isn't anything fancy, just plain old M&M's, chilled of course. People always ask me what my favorite M&M's color is - well, it's two colors, green and yellow - eaten together, naturally.

Without further ado, here is Suebob's Top Ten Chocolate List. Drum roll please:

#6 Hershey's Kisses *
#5 Russell Stover dark chocolate candies. My favorite centers are caramel, nougat, and some unknown chocolate cream, in the round cup
#4 Discontinued! Krisp Kreem chocolate wafers. Why they even bother with those other flavors is beyond me
#3 ** Twizzlers Chocolate Licorice
#2 A hot chocolate from Butterfly Herbs, Missoula, MT. (c. 1985-1991 only). It's just not the same now.
#1 Plain M&M's*** - chilled of course
