When we took in Lucinda, we had to face a hard truth. There was no way we would be able to keep her and the kittens. Thankfully, friends came forward and adopted five of the seven. We had to surrender two kittens, Sequoia and Joshua, to the Wisconsin Humane Society. But they were adopted into forever homes the first day they were put on adoption row. I hope they are happy.

It was incredibly hard letting these babies go; normally I am prepared to give up the fosters because, well they aren't ours, they belong to WHS. However, these guys were different. After adopting Lucy and then experiencing the delivery and all, they were ours. I know they would have had a good home with us; but it was impractical to keep seven cats.

For those who adopted our kids, thank you. And thank you for the updates. It is gratifying to see these little guys settled into such good homes!

JOSHUA AND SEQUOIA

On July 13th, 2019. Sequoia and Joshua were surrendered to the WHS. Here they will get spay/neutered and begin the next phase of what we hope will be long, happy lives. It was incredibly hard surrendering them, but if we want to foster, we can't have too many of our own pets.

Sadly, we will not receive any updates on these beautiful babies.
