HAVE YOU FOUND ONE OF MY CUSTOM MADE TRAVEL BUGS IN A GEOCACHE?
Great!
The goal of these travel bugs is the same as most; to see as many caches as possible and hopefully
send home photos of all the places they've been.
Scroll down to see the list!
The first Unofficial suebob Travel Bugs (UsbTB) have been placed!
I've got nothing against tracking travel bugs on geocaching.com, as a matter
of fact, I've got a few "traditional" bugs out there of my own, but I wanted to try
something different with my own custom made bugs...I don't know how successful this will
be - it will depend on folks who find my bugs and take the extra effort to send me an
email updating its status...so I hope to hear from a lot of geocachers...I'll place a few
and see how it goes. Thanks for dropping by and helping me track my travel bugs.
GOAL:
If you have found one of my bugs, please
email me with an update on the Travel Bugs location. These are some of the things
that would be interesting to include in your email:
1) Where did you find it? If possible, provide the geocache name and/or the Geocache Code
I will try to update each travel bugs location with 8 hours of receiving your email.
But, it is possible, depending on the drama of the day, that it could take a day or
two to get your information added to this site. But in the meantime you can view the
places the travel bug has been on this page. Just identify the one you have found -
either visually - or by it's number found on the back side (or both) and view the
details below.
Thanks for participating in my little adventure.

2) Send a picture of the travel bug in its new surroundings
3) Share any other observations you have
4) Tell me how much info you want of yourself to be included. Name? Email? Or no contact info?
It's your choice...if you don't indicate a choice, I'll assume you want to remain anonymous.
5) And don't forget to send the little guy on its way again...please don't keep it. If you
provide a picture of where you found the travel bug, I'd be happy to send you another one...
it may be a different color, and a little different size but I'd get it to you if
you would like one...I just want to keep the travel bugs...well...traveling.

Nov 8th, 2009 - Cyle Riggs and fiance report finding #22 in GC1430T *** Cyle writes: this cache is located at the site of a very popular family park in the area called "Penguin Park". Some history: the originally penguin was created as a giant christmas decoration and placed in the middle of some city owned greenway. The penguin drew some attention and later a playground and children's park was built around the giant penguin. Cyle says he and his fiance recall playing here at Penguin Park as children; it was very neat to come back for a cache hunt and then to find this travel bug and submit this story! *** Thanks Cyle, I love hearing details about various geocaches...and thanks for the fine photo!
