NOTE: I still have a "trade list" although I am really not interested
in trading for sand anymore...I have limited space and time which has
required a change of attitude in collecting; I still collect for myself
and usually collect more than I need. However, it's a quandary since I am only interested in trading for rare or unusual samples due to my space limitations. For instance, I'm not likely to get to Japan or Australia, so those places interest me. If you have something rare and/or unusual in your trade list I'd be interested in trading for these, and if necessary, more than "one to one" for rare sands.
Things you should be aware of before trading...

I do not clean my sands!!!
If I had unlimited time to spend on this obsession I would, but alas, they are as I collected them (or as they were sent to me). I do pull out pieces of flora or larger pebbles, but it is likely smaller pieces are still in some samples.
My trade sample size will fill a 35mm film cannister.
