Helen FOSTER came to us on February 5th, 2022.
She is a short-haired domestic. She is with us for an upper respiratory infection, which is mostly healed up now, and of course, socialization.
Well, she is definitely a challenge; I've barely seen her the whole time we've had her so far.

She's hiding from us; or trying to. We will leave her alone as much as possible to let her get a little acclimated to her new surroundings.
Sadly Helen remained fearful and just did not come to trust humans. It is disappointing; on some days she would seem playful, but we had to take her in for a vet check which turned out to be very traumatic for Helen and us. After that, we didn't think we could ever regain her trust.
So, after several weeks we decided we would not be able to help her. She was returned to the WHS where (we hope) they will find her a nice barn with a buddy to live out her life.
She is very fearful and shut down right now (1st day) but this is expected.
Update Feb 11th:
She really knows how to find those hiding spots.
