Noche TNR and Foster

NOCHE #263

Trapped --- Thursday February 1st, 2024

Released --- Saturday February 3rd, 2024.

Re-trapped --- March 25th, 2024

In Foster care with us ---- March 25th, 2024 to April 4th, 2024

Noche is a neighborhood feral or stray. I trapped him. He received needed vaccines and was neutered.
He was released back into the neighborhood on Feb 3rd. Be careful out there little boy!

As of Feb 13th, 2024, I have only seen him once since his release. I hope he comes back soon so I can be sure he is okay.

Update: March 25th, 2024

Well, he came back, but not in the way I thought he would!

Noche was trapped and turned over to MADACC by someone on 3/25/2024. UCC was notified and as he was my original TNR, UCC contacted me to go fetch him.
We were advised he had a nasty eye injury. And it was:

After a trip to the vet (for observation only) and a few days rest with us, Noche's eye looked a lot better. I cannot release him again; he is a nice boy, and we need to find him a home. So he is an old TNR rescue and a 'new' Foster boy. Welcome to your foster home Noche!

From his new Foster Mom April 4th, 2024

Noche was transferred to another foster family; he has his own big room and settled in nicely. Good luck Noche!

An update April 13th, 2024

Last I heard, Noche was turned over to Elmbrook Vet; I assume he has found his forever home...I sure hope so, he is a sweet boy and deserves to be loved and cared for.
